Rosewood is the passion project of us, Billyjean and Pieter. It’s a place where creativity and collaboration thrive.
In 2021 we transformed the ground floor of our home—a former gallery—into a space where contemporary designers, artists, and makers can showcase their work. After a series of successful exhibitions, Rosewood has evolved into a permanent ‘collectibles store’: a concept shop where you can discover curated collections of interior objects, artworks and homeware.
After graduating as an interior and object designer, Billyjean made waves in the underground scene with Ceci n’est pas une galerie, an immersive concept that defied convention. She created surreal installations where communal dinners met artistic experiences, turning these offbeat spaces into a launchpad for emerging artists and designers to show their work.
Nowadays she curates the store, conceives and manufactures products for Rosewood, and is a driving force in Antwerp’s theatre scene.
Pieter is a graphic artist known for his striking custom typography and bold visuals. His work blends graphic design, hand lettering and painting, creating a signature style that moves fluidly between the commercial and artistic worlds.
Beyond client projects, Pieter maintains a personal artistic practice, which has lead to several exhibitions, and he is a lecturer at PXL-MAD School of Arts in Hasselt.
